Regulation 25

For the purpose of an examination under section 24, 25, 25A or 26 of the Act, or where a special pass is issued under regulation 15(1), the Controller may, where he considers it necessary to do so, take possession of the passport or other travel document of the person regarding whom the examination is being conducted or to whom the special pass is issued, and shall in every such case immediately issue a receipt therefor to the holder.
