38. Aerodrome design requirements

A certified operator of an aerodrome must ensure that any design and construction of any new facility, and any alteration to any existing facility, at the aerodrome —

integrates the architectural and infrastructure‑related requirements for optimum implementation of the security directives given under section 67 of the Act and the regulations made under section 69 of the Act; and

are suitable for the characteristics of the aircraft intended to operate at the aerodrome.
