Regulation 22
Grant and renewal of UA basic training approval
Subregulation 1
After considering any application for or to renew a UA basic training approval, the Authority may —
upon being satisfied that the applicant is a fit and proper person to hold the approval and is qualified by reason of the applicant’s knowledge, experience, competence and skill to act in the capacity to which the approval relates, grant or renew the UA basic training approval, subject to any conditions as it thinks fit; or
refuse to grant or renew the UA basic training approval.
Subregulation 2
A UA basic training approval may be granted or renewed for the period specified in the approval, being a period not exceeding one year.
