Regulation 5
Permits
Subregulation 1
A permit is to be subject to the conditions, and must be in the form, that the Director specifies.
Subregulation 2
A permit may be in physical or electronic form.
Subregulation 3
A permit is valid for the period stated in the permit unless earlier cancelled or suspended under regulation 6.
Subregulation 4
The Director may at any time —
alter the particulars of a permit;
cancel or vary any conditions of a permit; or
impose new conditions on a permit.
Subregulation 5
If the Director alters the particulars of a permit under paragraph (4)(a), cancels or varies any condition of a permit under paragraph (4)(b) or imposes new conditions on a permit under paragraph (4)(c), the Director must —
notify the holder of the permit; and
issue the holder of the permit with a new permit.
Subregulation 6
Where the Director has issued the holder of a permit with a new permit under paragraph (5)(b), the former permit ceases to be valid when the new permit is issued.
