Regulation 48
Disposal of debris
Where any work is carried out in a shipyard or on board a ship in a harbour, it shall be the duty of the responsible person to ensure that —
(a)
the handling and disposal of any debris or other article is done in a manner which will not endanger persons;
(b)
no debris is allowed to accumulate so as to constitute a hazard; and
(c)
no debris is thrown from heights.
