Temperature and humidity

Subregulation 1

The temperature in any working chamber, man-lock or medical lock in a worksite shall not exceed 29°C and the relative humidity shall not exceed 85%.

Subregulation 2

A wet and dry bulb thermometer, in good working order, shall be provided in every working chamber in a worksite.

Subregulation 3

A lock attendant shall be appointed to record the readings of the thermometer in the lock attendant’s register.

Subregulation 4

It shall be the duty of the lock attendant to record the readings of the thermometer at least once in every 4 hours in the lock attendant’s register.
