Regulation 99
Means of communications
Effective and reliable means of communication, such as a telephone network, shall be maintained at all times and such means of communication shall connect the following locations:
(a)
the working chamber at the face of an excavation;
(b)
the working chamber side of the man-lock near the door;
(c)
the interior of each chamber of the man-lock;
(d)
the man and medical lock attendants’ station;
(e)
the compressor plant; and
(f)
the first-aid station.
