Regulation 80
No splitting of actions relating to Protection from Harassment proceedings
Without limiting section 35 of the State Courts Act 1970 and subject to sections 16I and 16J of the Act and these Rules, unless the court directs otherwise in respect of any PH proceedings before that court, all PH proceedings brought by the same applicant against a respondent must be brought in the same action before the same court if the rights to relief claimed under the PH proceedings —
are in respect of or arise out of the same conduct or course of conduct; or
involves the same or similar offending communications or the same, similar or substantially similar false statements.
