Choosing aerodrome or landing site
Before selecting an aerodrome or a landing site for use in any complex general aviation operation, a CGAC holder engaging in the complex general aviation operation must assess, in accordance with the procedures specified in the Operations Manual of the CGAC holder, the aerodrome or landing site as being adequate in terms of its facilities and services for the aircraft type and the conditions under which the aircraft is to be operated in the complex general aviation operation, taking into account —
the procedures applicable at the aerodrome or landing site; and
the level of safety risk associated with the aircraft type and the nature of the complex general aviation operation, in relation to the availability of rescue and firefighting services at the aerodrome or landing site.
