Oxygen indicators
Subregulation 1
A CGAC holder must ensure that every aircraft corresponding to one of the following descriptions is equipped in accordance with paragraph (2):
an aircraft that is to be operated at an altitude above flight level 130 during a complex general aviation operation;
an aircraft that is to be operated for more than 30 minutes between flight level 100 up to and including flight level 130 during a complex general aviation operation.
Subregulation 2
The equipment required to be installed under paragraph (1) are —
a means of indicating to the flight crew —
whether the passenger oxygen system is activated;
the amount of oxygen available in each source of supply, if the oxygen system is supplied by a gaseous system; and
if the aircraft is a pressurised aircraft, by visual or aural warning, when the cabin pressure altitude exceeds 10,000 ft; and
a means of indicating to each user of an individual dispensing unit, the amount of oxygen available and whether the oxygen is being delivered to the dispensing unit.
