Regulation 80
Surveillance Equipment
Subregulation 1
An operator of a Singapore registered aircraft must equip the aircraft with surveillance equipment for the aircraft to operate in accordance with the requirements of the appropriate air traffic services authority.
Subregulation 2
An operator of a Singapore registered aircraft must not operate the aircraft in an area where the appropriate air traffic services authority has specified a required surveillance performance for performance‑based surveillance unless —
the aircraft is equipped with the capability of operating in accordance with the required surveillance performance specifications; and
the operator has an approval granted by the Director‑General of Civil Aviation under the Air Navigation (98 — Special Operations) Regulations 2018 for that purpose.
