Regulation 81
Installation of communication, navigation, surveillance equipment
An operator of a Singapore registered aircraft must ensure that the installation on the aircraft of any equipment required for communications, navigation or surveillance purposes is such that the failure of any single unit of such equipment, or any combination thereof, will not result in the failure of another unit required for communications, navigation or surveillance purposes.
