Minimum equipment requirements
Subregulation 1
A Singapore operator with a special operations approval to conduct a low visibility operation must ensure that, for every aircraft type that is to be used for the operation, the minimum equipment that has to be serviceable at the commencement of the low visibility operation is in accordance with the aircraft flight manual, minimum equipment list, or equivalent document acceptable to the Director‑General of Civil Aviation.
Subregulation 2
The pilot‑in‑command of an aircraft that has been approved for a low visibility operation must not commence the operation unless the pilot‑in‑command is satisfied that the status of the aircraft, and the status of the relevant airborne systems, are appropriate for the specific operation to be conducted.
