Subregulation 1

A Singapore operator seeking a special operations approval to conduct operations using —

(a)

a head-up display or equivalent;

(b)

an automatic landing system;

(c)

an enhanced vision system;

(d)

a synthetic vision system;

(e)

a combined vision system; or

(f)

a hybrid system comprising any combination of a display or system mentioned in sub‑paragraphs (a) to (e),must comply with paragraph (2).

Subregulation 2

A Singapore operator must, as part of the application under regulation 4(1) to use a display or system mentioned in paragraph (1)(a) to (f) —

(a)

identify the display or system for which a special operations approval is sought, and the operations on which the display or system is to be used;

(b)

carry out a safety risk assessment of the operations using that display or system; and

(c)

provide details of —

(i)

the training programme required under regulation 33(1)(b); and

(ii)

the procedures required under regulation 33(1)(c) and (d).
