Regulation 41B

Any person who desires to install an air-conditioning unit on the exterior of any building or which projects outwards from any building shall engage a trained air-conditioning unit installer to carry out the installation works relating to the air-conditioning unit.

No person shall install any air-conditioning unit on the exterior of any building or which projects outwards from any building unless he is a trained air-conditioning unit installer.

Any person who contravenes paragraph (1) or (2) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or to both.
