81. Application for special employee licence

An application for a special employee licence must be in a form approved by the Authority, must be lodged with the Authority and must be accompanied by —
special employee licence
“special employee licence” means a special employee licence issued by the Authority under Part 5;
the prescribed fee; and
such documents as may be specified in the application form and such other document as may be required by the Authority.

The Commissioner of Police or any police officer authorised by the Commissioner must inquire into and report to the Authority on such matters concerning the application for a special employee licence as the Authority requests.
An application for a special employee licence may not be made by a person who is below the prescribed age or is a person within a class of persons prescribed as being ineligible to apply for a special employee licence.
If a requirement under this section is not complied with, the Authority may refuse to consider the application concerned.
