Evidence how recorded
(1)
The evidence of every witness and the statement or evidence of any accused person shall be taken down and recorded in the form of a deposition in the manner prescribed by sections 205 to 210 in the case of inquiries under Chapter XVII.
(2)
Notwithstanding anything in the Evidence Act [Cap. 97] the accused shall be a competent witness in his own behalf in all inquiries under this Chapter. [285
