Section 293

If the Coroner is of opinion at the close of any inquiry that there is ground for suspecting that some person is guilty of an offence under the Penal Code in respect of the matter inquired into, but he cannot ascertain who that person is, he shall transmit a copy of the depositions taken by him on the inquiry to the Commissioner of Police, together with a certificate to that effect.
