Within 3 months after the date the applicant receives the copy of the registered owner’s evidence referred to in rule 43, the applicant may file with the Registrar evidence in reply by way of a statutory declaration and shall, at the same time, serve on the registered owner a copy of that evidence.

Evidence in reply shall be confined to matters strictly in reply to the registered owner’s evidence.
