Notice of non-compliance

Subregulation 1
If, in the course of an examination of an application to extend the period of registration of a design, it appears to the Registrar that the application is not in order, the Registrar shall give written notice of this to the applicant.
Subregulation 2

If the applicant fails to —
(a)
respond in writing to the Registrar on the notice; or (b)comply with any requisition of the Registrar set out in the notice,within the time specified in the notice, the Registrar may treat the application as having been withdrawn.
