Prescribed matters for purposes of section 57(14)(b) of Act
Subregulation 1
For the purposes of section 57(14)(b) of the Act, a reference in section 57(7D) or (10) of the Act to a permit issued to a person includes a reference to the following:
an electronic record of the person’s identity card displaying the details of the permit, which is made available to that person on the mobile software application known as “Singpass” (published under the name of “Government Technology Agency”) that is registered to that person;
an electronic copy of, or an electronic record relating to the person displaying the details of, the permit, which is made available to that person on —
the electronic service known as MyICA at the Internet website https://www.ica.gov.sg; or
the mobile software application known as “MyICA Mobile” (published under the name of “Immigration & Checkpoints Authority”).
Subregulation 2
For the purposes of section 57(14)(b) of the Act, a reference in section 57(7D) or (10) of the Act to a pass issued to a person includes a reference to the following:
an electronic record of the person’s pass displaying the details of the pass, which is made available to that person on the mobile software application known as “Singpass” (published under the name of “Government Technology Agency”) that is registered to that person;
an electronic copy of, or an electronic record relating to the person displaying the details of, the pass, which is made available to that person on —
the electronic service known as MyICA at the Internet website https://www.ica.gov.sg;
the electronic service known as FileSG at the Internet website https://www.file.gov.sg; or
the mobile software application known as “MyICA Mobile” (published under the name of “Immigration & Checkpoints Authority”);
in the case of a dependant’s pass, visit pass or special pass — an electronic copy of, or an electronic record relating to the person displaying the details of, the pass, which is made available to that person on the mobile software application known as “SGWorkPass” (published under the name of “Ministry of Manpower”).
Subregulation 3
In paragraph (1)(a), “identity card” means an identity card issued under the National Registration Act 1965.
