Qualifications

Subregulation 1
An applicant for an Amateur Station Licence shall, unless exempted by the Authority —
(a)
have passed the Radio Amateur Examination set by the Authority; or
(b)
be in possession of an Amateur Radio Certificate acceptable to the Authority.

The fee payable to sit for the Radio Amateur Examination referred to in paragraph (1)(a) by —
(a)
a full-time secondary, pre-university or tertiary student or a full-time student of the Institute of Technical Education, Singapore, shall be $20; and
(b)
any other person, shall be $40.
