17. Suspension of effect of appealable decision

On the application of a party or of its own initiative, the Appeal Committee may suspend, in whole or in part, the effect of the appealable decision appealed against (except the imposition of a financial penalty) —

for the period of the appeal; or

if the appealable decision is remitted to the Commission under section 48Q(5)(a) of the Act, until the Commission makes its direction or decision on the matter.
