Regulation 21

Filing with and service on Chairman, Appeal Committee and Secretary

Subregulation 1

Unless the Chairman otherwise directs, any document to be filed with, sent to or served on the Chairman, an Appeal Committee or the Secretary in connection with an appeal must be addressed to the Secretary to the Data Protection Appeal Panel and —

(a)

delivered personally to an officer or agent of the Ministry of Digital Development and Information at 140 Hill Street, #01‑01A, Old Hill Street Police Station, Singapore 179369 or any other address as the Chairman may direct; or

(b)

served in any other manner as the Chairman may direct.

Subregulation 2

Regulations 23 and 24 do not apply where a document is to be filed with, sent to or served on the Chairman, an Appeal Committee or the Secretary in connection with an appeal.

Subregulation 3

The Chairman, an Appeal Committee or the Secretary may refuse to accept any document mentioned in paragraph (1) if the document or its manner of filing, sending or service does not comply with any requirement under the Act or these Regulations.
