12. Presence of appellant at hearing of application
Feedback & supportWhere an appellant is in custody and has filed an application for an extension of time to lodge a notice of appeal or a petition of appeal or otherwise under these Regulations, he shall be allowed to be present at the hearing and determination of his application.
The registrar shall give notice of the probable date thereof to the appellant and the officer-in-charge of the detention or disciplinary barrack or prison where the appellant is in custody.
Subregulation 1
Where an appellant is in custody and has filed an application for an extension of time to lodge a notice of appeal or a petition of appeal or otherwise under these Regulations, he shall be allowed to be present at the hearing and determination of his application.
