Regulation 24
Monitoring of high-risk work
Subregulation 1
It shall be the duty of the ship repair manager to continually review the progress of all high-risk work carried out pursuant to any permit-to-work issued in relation to any ship of which he is the ship repair manager to ensure that the high-risk work is carried out with due regard to the safety and health of the persons carrying out the high-risk work.
Subregulation 2
It shall be the duty of the supervisor or foreman of any person who carries out any high-risk work —
to ensure that the measures necessary to ensure the safety and health of the person at work are taken and are in place at all times during the validity period of the permit-to-work; and
to inform the ship repair manager upon completion of the high-risk work.
