Regulation 83

Illumination level

In a worksite where tunnelling works are carried out —

(a)

all areas in the tunnel shall be adequately illuminated; and

(b)

emergency generators are provided to ensure adequate illumination of the tunnels and work areas in the event of a failure in the power supply.
