34. Reminder to extend period of registration
Feedback & supportThe Registrar shall, not earlier than 6 months nor later than one month before the end of the current period of registration of a design, give to the registered owner written notice of the imminent expiry of the period and the manner in which it may be extended.
Paragraph (1) shall not apply if an application for extension of the current period of registration has already been made.
Paragraph (1) shall not apply to the extension of the period of registration of a relevant design upon the expiry of its initial period of registration.
Subregulation 1
