Regulation 33

Uniforms

Subregulation 1

The Council must determine the uniform to be worn by all members of the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps that, insofar as is practicable, must resemble that of the Singapore Civil Defence Force.

Subregulation 2

A member of the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps must be issued such uniforms and equipment free of charge as the Commandant of the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps may direct.

Subregulation 3

All uniforms and equipment issued to a member of the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps under paragraph (2) remain the property of the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps at all times.

Subregulation 4

A member of the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps must not wear his or her uniform except when the member is on duty or undergoing training, or is proceeding to or from the place of duty or training.

Subregulation 5

An individual who ceases to be a member of the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps must return all uniforms and equipment issued to the individual under paragraph (2) and must, unless the Commandant of the National Civil Defence Cadet Corps directs otherwise, pay for the cost of any uniform or equipment, or the replacement for any uniform or equipment, that the individual has failed to return.
