18. Response to claim
Feedback & supportA person on whom a claim is served and who intends to file a response to a claim must, within 14 days after being served with the claim and the claimant’s documents, file and serve on the claimant —
a response in the appropriate Form; and
every document on which that person relies or will rely in the response.
At the time of filing a response, the person making the response must pay the applicable fee.
The person who files a response must file a declaration of service in the appropriate Form within 8 days after the date on which the response is served on the claimant.
Subregulation 1
A person on whom a claim is served and who intends to file a response to a claim must, within 14 days after being served with the claim and the claimant’s documents, file and serve on the claimant —
a response in the appropriate Form; and
every document on which that person relies or will rely in the response.
