Regulation 38
Subregulation 1
The Chairman of the Board may arrange for one or more medical assessors, appointed under section 39(3) of the Act, to assist the Complaints Committee at its hearing.
Subregulation 2
In choosing a medical assessor to assist the Complaints Committee, the Chairman of the Board shall have regard to any opinion expressed by the Committee as to the nature of the matters on which medical advice would be useful.
