Frozen meat to be thawed in approved manner

A person engaged in the sale or preparation for sale of any raw meat that has been frozen shall only thaw the meat in a chiller maintained at a temperature not below 0ºC and not above 4ºC, or in such other manner as may be approved by the Director-General in writing.
