Regulation 16

Casual leave

Subregulation 1

A police officer may be granted casual leave at the rate of 14 days for each calendar year of service.

Subregulation 2

Casual leave —

(a)

may be taken by an officer consecutively with any other description of leave; and

(b)

shall not be granted to an officer who has served less than 6 months.

Subregulation 3

Eligibility for casual leave arises immediately upon the commencement of each calendar year and shall count as service for the purpose of computing subsequent eligibility for vacation leave.
