Pupils eligible for Edusave Scholarships for Secondary Schools

The Edusave Scholarship for Secondary Schools shall be awarded each year to every pupil who —

(a)

is enrolled in a Government secondary school, Government-aided secondary school, Government junior college, Government-aided junior college or specified educational institution for his secondary education;

(b)

is a citizen of Singapore;

(ba)is not the holder of any other academic award in that year;

(c)

if the pupil —

(i)

is a relevant pupil — has obtained the qualifying score in the relevant assessments; or

(ii)

is not a relevant pupil — is ranked in the top 10% of all pupils in the pupil’s level and course based on each pupil’s average rank for that year; and

(d)

has attained at least a good grade for conduct in that year.

In this regulation, “qualifying score”, in relation to a pupil (called the specified pupil), means the lowest aggregate score which is obtained by any pupil standing among the 10% of all pupils in the same level and course as the specified pupil who have obtained the highest aggregate scores in the relevant assessments.
