In the RTA, replace section 23 with —“Refund of licence fees on cancelling registration of vehicle

23. If a licence is in force for a vehicle, the Registrar may, on cancelling the registration of the vehicle under section 31A, refund to the holder of the licence a sum equal to the amount that has been charged for the number of calendar months, or part of a month, for which the licence would have continued to be in force.”.
