Regulation 7A
Activities in waterway requiring prior approval
A person must not, without the prior written approval of an authorised officer —
enter into any waterway, other than any part of any waterway described in the Third Schedule when the audio and visual warning systems installed around those waterways are not activated to prohibit entry;
draw water from any waterway;
release any animal into any waterway;
fish in any waterway, other than in any part of a waterway which is clearly marked out as a designated area for fishing activities by signs erected by or under the authority of the Board; or
use for fishing in any waterway any bait that is not an artificial lure.
