Clause 52
In the National Registry of Diseases Act 2007 —
(a)
in section 2, in the definition of “investigation officer”, replace “public officer” with “individual”;
(b)
in section 13(1), after “public officer”, insert “or officer of a public authority”; and
(c)
in section 13, after subsection (2), insert —“(3) In this section, “public authority” means a body established or constituted by or under a public Act to perform or discharge a public function, but does not include a Town Council established under section 4 of the Town Councils Act 1988.”.
