Amendment of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Act 2000
of Health Sciences Authority (Amendment) and Other Matters Bill
In the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Act 2000 —
in section 26B(2)(b), replace “a public officer or a member or an employee of the Board in his or her capacity as a public officer or such a member or an employee” with “a public officer, an officer of a public authority or a member or an employee of the Board when acting in that capacity”;
in section 26B, after subsection (2), insert —“(3) In this section, “public authority” means a body established or constituted by or under a public Act to perform or discharge a public function, but does not include a Town Council established under section 4 of the Town Councils Act 1988.”; and
in section 33, replace “or any member or employee of the Board or committee,” with “any member or employee of the Board or committee, or any investigator acting under the direction of the Board”.
