Clause 55
In the Pharmacists Registration Act 2007 —
(a)
in section 2, after the definition of “president”, insert —“ “public authority” means a body established or constituted by or under a public Act to perform or discharge a public function, but does not include a Town Council established under section 4 of the Town Councils Act 1988;”;
(b)
in section 39(1), after “public officer”, insert “, an officer of a public authority”; and
(c)
in section 65(1), after “public officers”, insert “, officers of a public authority”.
