Clause 54
In the Optometrists and Opticians Act 2007, in section 31 —
(a)
in subsection (1), after “public officers”, insert “, officers of a public authority”; and
(b)
after subsection (4), insert —“(5) In this section, “public authority” means a body established or constituted by or under a public Act to perform or discharge a public function, but does not include a Town Council established under section 4 of the Town Councils Act 1988.”.
